1. Blogs are still alive and well!!!
I have had a blog for a few years now. I have not blogged very often. Mostly because it is very time consuming but also I really just thought that no one reads them anymore. Well…your here and reading this so that tells me that blogs are still a THING! I have always loved to read blogs. I love that you can get more detail about something. I love me some Instagram but sometimes I just need more. I have found a wealth of information by reading different blogs. I recently got a little face lift on my blog. Here is my new blog!! I could not imagine how much I would learn about blogging. From SEO to links, Kayse has blown my mind countless times.
2. First impressions are everything!
I knew that the product covers for my resources needed help! I just wasn’t exactly sure where to start. After the module about creating I was set! I was able to take her tips and tricks and make my product covers more appealing and easier for people to find online. Here is an example of a before and after product cover. What a difference a few tweaks make!!!
3. Using Adobe Reader to create editable resources will change your life!
I personally love using a resource that is editable. I love being able to tweak an amazing resource a tiny bit to better fit my classroom. I had always wondered how it was done. (I even tried to Google it, find a video on Youtube, and the info was just not there) When I found out that I would learn this secret from Kayse, I was excited! Now some of my best selling resources are selling even more because it is so much easier for a buyer to edit them in Adobe Reader. My buyers love that they can just type what they want/need and the font I used populates for them! No need to download fonts!!! In my Flexible Seating Poster resource, buyers can now easily type their own expectations! Editable resources are life changing.
